More than ten years after his split with Sony Music (after the album Metamorphoses), Jean Michel Jarre has returned to the record label, signing a contract with Sony Music Germany, according to this web. So, this record label will reissue the old works of Jarre and will publish the long awaited new album for 2014.

XVI Rendez Vous in Madrid (11-13 October 2013)
The sixteenth edition of the annual meeting of JEAN MICHEL JARRE’s fans, organized by FAIRLIGHT JARRE, will take in Madrid from 11 till 13 October 2o13.
Its organizers, LAURA GARCIA, DAVID MUÑOZ and CARLOS VIDAL, have finalized all the details for this event with a Jarre tribute concert at the Sala Buho Real hall, with performances by TONINO DRUMS (Madrid / Ciudad Real), XETHIS (Rosario, Argentina) and DREAMING (Alicante). The tickets for the event have a cost of 5 euros with a free drink included.

BMG Will Reissue Jean Michel Jarre’s Catalog
As we reported from BMG Rights Management (France), a company belonging to the giant Bertelsmann and responsible for providing music publishing services, and since January 2013 managing the wide catalog of DISQUES DREYFUS, “JEAN MICHEL JARRE is working on new projects and on an imminent and significant reissue program.”
We have to to expand these news-JARRE may be recording a new album, but that does not necessarily mean that it will be released by BMG– but what is clear is that BMG intends to reissue his discography shortly.
