New Batch of Remastered Albums

A new batch of Jean Michel Jarre remastered albums were released this month by Sony Music Germany. The remastered albums are Chronologie, Waiting For Cousteau, Revolutions, Rendez-Vous and Zoolook. All these albums contains a redesigned booklet and some new notes.

Please note that the Rendez-Vous album have errors on a few tracks, mostly on Rendez-Vous 2. Fairlight Jarre talked with Yakuda Audio (they made these remasters) and they told us that they will fix these errors very soon.

XVII Rendez Vous

The XVII annual Jean Michel Jarre Convention will be celebrated in Seville next 26, 27 and 28 September 2014. The big event of this Rendez Vous will be the concert that will be staged at the Events hall, with the performances of Complexystems, Cyborgdrive, Die Stadt, Juanma 71, Tonino Drums, Xethis and Destino Plutón. Electronic Tour 5

Electronic Tour 5 is the new musical compilation of musicians of the Fjarre Forum. The project, coordinated by Xethis, and with art by Nelman Music System, is available for purchase or download on Bandcamp website.

Jean Michel Jarre Remastered

Next April 25 Sony Music will release the first bunch of the Jean Michel Jarre back catalog, starting with Oxygene, Equinoxe, Magnetic Fields, The Concerts in China, Houston/Lyon and Destination Docklands. There will be not bonus tracks and only iterations on the cover of Houston/Lyon and Destination Docklands albums. The Concerts in China album will be a 2CD release.

– Tell us about your memories about the historical concert in Houston.

My artistic collaboration covered a wide range of roles. One more story. Back in summer 1985, as I had not seen Jean-Michel since a while, I decided to invite him to a famous restaurant in a very nice place, in the St-Germain forest, a short distance from Croissy.
